Automation Engineer

Automation Engineer
Description de la fonction
For the position as Automation Engineer:
- You are responsible for the electrical design and programming of the PLC machine controls where you will make the planning and installation schedules related to the automation of the machines
- You do the functional electrical final inspection before dispatching the machines to be installed
- You assist with the upgrades and service interventions of the machines at the customers' sites
- In collaboration with the suppliers and the procurement department, you specify the needed electrical components
- You travel internationally (to 30%)
Profil
- You have a master's degree in Electromechanics or a related field with a focus on automation/electrical systems
- You have a strong technical comprehension and excellent knowledge of PLC machinery control and programming with Siemens (Tiaportal, Step7) and Rockwell
- You can work with EPLAN
- You can visualize the process (SCADA/HMI)
- You design electrical control cabinets
- You know how to prioritize tasks
- You can work independently without compromising team spirit
- You possess a proactive personality with a sense of initiative and a customer-oriented/commercial mindset
- You have a good proficiency in Dutch and English (both written and spoken)
