HR Generalist to support our HR team, based in our headquarters in Antwerp, Belgium.As
HR Generalist you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Prepare and maintain employment records related to hiring, terminations, leaves, transfers, and promotions using HRMS software.
- Update and maintain HR documents, including organizational charts, employee handbooks, and performance evaluation forms.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and records.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures in line with labor laws and organizational goals.
- Provide guidance to management and employees on HR policies and best practices.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: job descriptions, postings, screening, interviews, and offers.
- Collaborate with the HR team to forecast staffing needs and develop strategies.
- Conduct onboarding for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Identify training needs, coordinate programs, and assess their effectiveness.
- Support performance management processes and monitor outcomes.
- Launch and analyze well-being surveys to enhance employee engagement.
- Utilize HRMS tools and Microsoft Office Suite to manage workflows, generate reports, and analyze employment data.
- Support event planning, training sessions, and organizational objectives.
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR role.
- Knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements; experience with labor laws in Belgium, the Netherlands, or France is a plus.
- Experience in the aviation industry is an asset.
- Proficiency in recruitment, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
- A hands-on, problem-solving mindset with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Technical proficiency with HRMS tools, recruitment software, and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
