Management Assistant

As a management assistant, you will:
- Support the sector group manager in management and advocacy activities
- Support to strategic engagement on key policy files and with policy makers
- Manage Task Forces or sub-groups/activities of some sector groups
- Prepare draft activity reports containing a summary of communication analytics, event, media outreach, and publication (twice a year or quarterly, depending on the sector group needs)
- Manage the Sector Group’s Website & Social Media, Activity report, Newsletter, monitor statistics as part of the sector groups communication Strategy
- Publish news items and newsletters, create visuals in Canva and post items in Hootsuite for LinkedIn & Twitter
- Manage the library of relevant information for the members
- Prepare the budget and assist in financial follow-up, minutes of meetings and other tasks linked to the group membership.
Profiel
The successful candidate will be an experienced professional who demonstrates the following experience and competencies:
- A bachelor’s degree in Office Management or similar
- At least 3-5 years of work experience, preferably as an assistant at senior management level
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in IT, web management and social media skills
- Excellent level of English, written and spoken. Knowledge of other languages is an asset
- Full proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work accordingly
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer orientation
- A good team player who is able to work independently
- Curious, fast learning and willing to improve continuously
