About the job - You are responsible for the technical integration of production equipment and systems into the OT network, acting as a liaison between the ICT and engineering departments to ensure smooth integration.
- In this role, you develop and implement the new OT data platform at a technical level, ensuring a reliable architecture that meets the current and future needs of the organization.
- You manage data collection, contextualization, and storage (UNS/Historian), ensuring that data is accessible and usable for analysis and reporting.
- As the Engineering Security Lead, you drive the implementation of industrial security measures and collaborate with IT security and our production plant leads to ensure operational systems meet required security standards.
- You ensure that the OT systems in the Biscoff plants, including batch processes (MES systems) and SCADA systems, are well managed, coordinating maintenance and ensuring stability and performance.
- You lead engineering projects focused on digitalization, improving the efficiency of production processes by integrating innovative technologies.
Profiel
To excel in this position and accomplish the objectives mentioned, we think you should have:
- Master’s degree in Engineering combined with at least 7 years experience in an automated production environment.
- In-depth knowledge of OT systems (Data Historian, UNS, SCADA) and ICT technologies (virtualization, networking) is essential.
- Knowledge of PLC programming is a plus
- Strong analytical and creative skills in order to be able to solve complex technical issues and translate those into structured solutions.
- Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to manage shifting timelines and set clear priorities.
- You're based in Lembeke but you’re willing to travel to our Biscoff plants abroad.
