Customer Operations Specialist - Logistics

Key Responsibilities:
Logistics:
- Organize and monitor all inbound operations for the assigned product line.
- Manage and oversee all logistical operations from purchase order to storage, including vessels, isotanks, FCLs, bulk, and packed products.
- Request transport offers from logistical partners, update the offer database, and ensure optimum solutions and cost-saving opportunities.
- Handle logistical claims and issues, collaborating closely with different stakeholders.
- Participate and assist in supply chain projects involving logistical aspects.
Inventory Management:
- Conduct inventory forecasts in cooperation with the Commercial and Product Marketing departments.
- Coordinate demand and stock replenishment planning (demand, inventory, days on hand, target stock levels, product disposals, and write-offs).
- Monitor and manage stock levels, including analyzing slow-moving stock and taking actions to reduce it.
- Implement and execute order purchasing policies to control and ensure optimum levels of inventory.
- Participate and assist in monthly Inventory Performance reporting and alignment on forecast and order planning with the team manager.
Profil
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.
- At least 2 years of experience in logistics.
- Knowledge of SAP
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving attitude.
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks.
- Structured way of working, capable of tracking multiple orders at different stages, keeping all stakeholders informed, and anticipating potential issues.
- Enthusiastic about learning the specificities of transporting chemical goods.
- Meticulous in maintaining records to comply with internal and external procedures and policies.
- Can-do attitude, eager to take on additional responsibilities and develop new skills. No day in the office is the same.
- Reports to the Logistic Operations Coordinator.
