Accounting Specialist
The Accounting Specialist will perform a variety of accounting tasks to support the Accounting & Finance department. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers.

You will manage key accounting tasks, ensuring accurate monthly closings, cut-off analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations. Supporting the Finance Accounting Specialist, you'll assist with IFRS analysis and local annual accounts preparation. Reporting to the Head of Accounting, you'll collaborate with internal stakeholders for timely financial reporting.

- Perform monthly closing activities to report accurate overhead expenses.
- Conduct periodical cut-off analysis on business activities to ensure accurate financial statements.
- Assist in IFRS analysis and reconciliations.
- Provide input for intercompany (IC) recharges and manage the IC balance confirmations.
- Contribute to the preparation of the local annual accounts.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide recommendations.
Profil
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in General Accounting.
- Fluent in English and Dutch or French, both spoken and written.
- Excellent analytical skills and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- IT savvy and capable of adapting to complex systems.
