Working within the local Motion organization, the Account Manager develops, implements and updates the account strategy for the different product divisions in Belgium from the customer’s perspective.
Reporting to the BeLux Sales Manager and working functionally with the Global Key Account Manager, you will coordinate sales activities, creating added value for the customer and ABB, with a clear focus on increasing market share, profitability and customer satisfaction.

- Leading the development and implementation of the account plan and growth actions
- Defining sales targets for the account, and ensuring they are achieved with a structured follow-up process across the different product divisions.
- Providing solutions for their businesses that are in line with volume, mix and profitability targets
- Monitoring competitor activity and ensuring appropriate action is taken
- Driving the application of standardized marketing and sales processes and tools
Profile
- 5 years of experience in Industrial B2B Sales, working as Account Manager.
- Demonstrated experience in management of customer accounts and sales strategy.
- You are able to translate corporate objectives/strategies into relevant plans for a specific element of the business such as product or functional strategies Sound knowledge of electrical motors and frequency converters.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication and customer relationship-building skills
- A Master or bachelor degree in technical or commercial engineering
- A good knowledge of Dutch and English are required in word and writing.
