Key Responsibilities:
1. Work Preparation:
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to prepare client sites for the commencement of construction and installation activities.
- Monitor the progress of work in terms of resources and logistics.
2. Site Supervision:
- Supervise daily and weekly planning, scheduling, and execution of solar EPC projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure timely completion of projects within budget and quality parameters.
- Report all related incidents without any delay.
- Keep the full construction team well-informed on a daily basis, including subcontractors and suppliers.
- Execute Work Place Inspections.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive reporting according to PerPetum standards.
3. Safety and Quality Management:
- Implement HSE guidelines on-site in collaboration with the PerPetum Safety Advisor, ensuring compliance with VCA requirements and eliminating potential safety hazards.
- Ensure that all projects completed by subcontractors meet scope, budget, planning, and high-quality standards, implementing quality control measures in collaboration with the PerPetum ISO Coordinator.
- Organize toolbox meetings and follow up on actions.
Skills, Qualifications, and Competencies:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- Safety Knowledge: Excellent understanding of safety regulations.
- Technical Proficiency: Good working knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
- Construction Expertise: Sound knowledge of building plans and electrical schedules.
- Language Skills: Good knowledge of English and excellent knowledge of Dutch.
- Project Management: Understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage resources, schedules, and documentation effectively.
- Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
