For our retail network, this means that to remain the Best Retailer in Town they will need to transform providing the Best Retail Experience in Town, attract, develop and keep talent acting as the Best Employer in Town while also becoming the Best Mobility Services Provider in Town.
For Toyota Academy, this means that we need to transform towards a future-proof & sustainable learning organization, which through an efficient & effective approach (using the latest technology), needs to empower the retail teams and ensure they not only thrive in the present but also lead the changes of tomorrow.
The mission of the Academy is built around People – training, coaching, coordinating, upskilling, attracting – and as such must remain the “trusted partner” and “key enabler” for the key stakeholders & business partners that will drive the transformation.
Team responsibilities
The Academy Europe at Toyota Motor Europe is responsible for all learning & development for our Toyota Retail Network in Europe related to the following topics:
- Best Retailer in Town – Build a customer centric, agile and self-sustaining European network
- Product Training – Create and deliver training assets to support new product & technology launches
- Technical Training – Facilitate Fix-it-Right during maintenance and repairs on customers’ cars
- Skills Training – Enable a memorable customer experience during the sales process at Retailers
Creating the right environment and training programs in which, together with the local markets training Academies, the latest knowledge and skills is transferred effectively and efficiently to Retailer staff – management teams, frontline staff & technicians.
Your responsibilities:
Within the Academy Training team, you will act as the ‘Data Analyst’ expert, playing a crucial role in helping the Academy in Europe making informed decisions by collecting, processing, and analyzing data. These are your responsibilities:
- Develop a robust measurement framework to assess and monitor effectiveness and impact of training’s on network performance, and this consistently in Europe.
- Through the development of dedicated KPI dashboards, monitor and report on the progress of training program implementation across different markets.
- Set-up and maintain governance model to monitor KPI.
- Work with cross-functional teams (local Toyota markets, Business units, etc.) to understand their data needs and KPI dashboards.
- Develop template and coordinate completion of Yearly Training’s Plans.
- Maintain detailed records of the current status of training materials in each market, including translation, implementation, and completion stages.
- Create detailed reports and visualizations to present findings to stakeholders.
- Regularly share progress with mgmt.
- Escalate progress blocking points if needed
- Suggest/implement Kaizen actions where possible
Profiel
- You are fluent in English (Toyota Motor Europe business language)
- You have a degree in a related field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Economics.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python, R) and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- You have interest in Learning & Development, Learning Technologies, Training.
- You have demonstrated proactive, autonomous, strong project management skills
- You demonstrate strong ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights. As well as the ability to identify and solve data-related issues and improve data processes.
- You are an adaptive team player, able to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- You have strong interest in People Development.
- You have proficiency in managing projects across different areas, coordinating people & resources, timelines and deliverables.
