What you will do As a Project Accounting Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring financial compliance and effective administration of funds within semiconductor projects under the European Chips Act. This is a significant European initiative aimed at boosting semiconductor production and innovation within the EU. (see:
Toon websitehttps://www.european-chips-act.com) The goal is to strengthen Europe's chip supply, reduce dependency on external suppliers, and position the EU as a global leader in semiconductor technologies. Your responsibilities:
Grant Administration & Compliance: - Ensure all financial reporting complies with the EU's strict requirements for public funding under the Chips Act.
- Manage compliance with grants and funding allocations from EU bodies, ensuring that projects utilize resources in accordance with the funding agencies' rules.
Financial Reporting Preparation: - Prepare financial statements, variance reports, and other documents required for project monitoring.
- Report financial performance to stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and other EU bodies associated with the Chips Act.
Audit Preparation: - Assist with audits of financial accounts and project finances by preparing the necessary documentation.
- Ensure transparency and accountability in the financial management of semiconductor projects.
- You will work closely with Project Leaders and the European Chips Act Coordinator within Group Accounting and Business Controlling.
Profiel
Who you are - You hold a degree in Finance or have relevant experience in this field.
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- You are seeking a permanent contract.
- You have knowledge on EU regulations and financial compliance.
- Experience in handling public funds and grants, is a plus.
- You have strong attention to detail and are proactive in your approach.
- You possess excellent communication skills and know how to gather information effectively. You build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (like colleagues) and external stakeholders (like project leaders).
