Legal Counsel - Renewable Energy - Antwerp
Functieomschrijving
- Provide legal advice to various departments and companies within the group, focusing on projects like dual fuel marine engines, dual fuel trucks, and hydrogen/ammonia infrastructure.
- Draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts with OEMs, particularly in the green and clean tech sector.
- Offer solution-oriented legal guidance to manage and mitigate legal risks globally.
- Act as a strategic business partner to the technology development department.
Profiel
- A Master's degree in Law and at least 4-5 years of relevant legal experience (private practice or in-house)
- Strong knowledge of commercial law, intellectual property law, and technology, with expertise in the green and clean tech space
- Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
- Excellent contract drafting and review skills with a meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to think strategically, communicate complex legal issues clearly to non-lawyers, and work independently while being a strong team player
- Flexible, proactive, and able to handle time pressure with a stress-resistant and solution-oriented mindset
