To promote HSE, Quality and Lean & Continuous Improvement, we are looking for a
LEAN & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT MANAGER reporting to our Managing Director Your role:
* Initiates, challenges and follows up the Operational Performance improvement of the company needed to achieve its annual objectives, supported by analysis of our BSC and other relevant data and information;
* Develops, promotes and drives a continuous and sustainable improvement culture based on Safety, Quality and Operational Excellence
* Develops and maintains the projects master plan, aligned with the Safran Group's guidelines and company's vision, measures progresses and ensures results achievement;
* Leads Lean and CI projects, coordinating the work of those Lean experts assigned to specific processes;
* Promotes the Safran Group's Continuous Improvement (CI) vision and translates it into a local strategy of implementation
* Is the CI focal point of the company towards the Group and defends the company's interests
* Coaches, mentors and trains Green Belts and team members in Lean Sigma methodology and use of its tools; organizes and leads potential candidates certification programs
* Communicates about changes, progresses and performances.

Profiel
Your profile:
- You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field, or equivalent through experience.
- You have knowledge of change & lean management and basis in terms of techno-economic management and performance management
- You have Knowledge of how to formalize the technical choices among different options, relying if necessary on technical experts.
- You are keen to improve operational performance and processes while being familiar with Lean Sigma methodologies, Quality and Health and Safety and Environment policies, processes and procedures.
- You have been managing and supporting successfully departments across an organization while getting their buy-in of the teams to meet objectives and deadlines.
- You are strong in motivating people and to develop and promote the company's lean, quality, safety and environment policies.
- You are analytical, open minded and work in a structured way.
- You have strong communication skills to liaise with all Safran Aircraft Engine Services and Safran corporate key stakeholders.
- You have good communication skills and are fluent in Dutch or French and English
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Belgium, holding either an EU passport or a valid work & residence permit. Please note that we do not provide assistance with visa or permit applications.
