1. Procurement Digital Strategy & Governance
- Develop and execute the Procurement Digital Transformation Roadmap, ensuring alignment with cost efficiency, risk mitigation, and ESG compliance.
- Lead the digitization of procurement processes, including eSourcing, supplier management, contract lifecycle management, and spend analytics.
- Collaborate with IT teams to define the target architecture for Procurement applications, ensuring seamless integration with SAP ERP and Supply Chain systems.
- Work with Finance and Risk teams to enhance spend visibility, compliance, and fraud detection mechanisms.
2. eProcurement & Sourcing Digitalization
- Lead the implementation and optimization of eProcurement platforms (SAP Ariba, Ivalua, S4HANA).
- Optimize the eRFQ, eRFP, and eAuction processes for raw materials, direct procurement, indirect procurement, and logistics.
- Enable automated supplier onboarding and qualification, ensuring compliance with industry safety, sustainability, and geopolitical risk standards.
- Work with category managers to drive AI-driven category insights for better sourcing decisions.
3. Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) & Risk Mitigation
- Implement AI-driven supplier risk management tools to assess financial health, ESG compliance, and geopolitical risks of critical suppliers.
- Drive real-time supplier performance tracking, integrating data from logistics, quality control, and finance systems.
- Ensure supplier collaboration platforms are adopted effectively, improving transparency and efficiency in supplier engagement.
4. CAPEX & Strategic Procurement Digitalization
- Optimize the CAPEX procurement process, ensuring digital workflows streamline long-term investment approvals, contract negotiations, and supplier due diligence.
- Work closely with engineering and finance teams to ensure efficient vendor selection, contract compliance, and project milestone tracking.
- Enable digital tools for asset lifecycle management, integrating procurement insights with maintenance and production planning.
5. Procurement Analytics & Data-Driven Decision Making
- Drive real-time procurement analytics, integrating spend analysis, supplier risk, cost modeling, and price forecasting.
- Work with data scientists to build predictive procurement models, ensuring better cost control in volatile raw material markets.
- Ensure Azure Data Lake & SAP BW integration to provide procurement teams with accurate, actionable insights.
6. Change Management & Adoption
- Lead stakeholder engagement with category managers, buyers, plant procurement teams, and global procurement heads.
- Develop a change management strategy to ensure the seamless adoption of digital procurement tools.
- Design and implement training programs on procurement automation, analytics, and supplier risk management.
- Ensure ongoing support and refinement of procurement processes based on user feedback and industry trends.
Experience & Skills
- 10+ years of experience in procurement digital transformation, procurement operations, or supply chain IT strategy.
- Expertise in direct procurement (raw materials, steel products, logistics), indirect procurement (MRO, services), and CAPEX procurement.
- Strong knowledge of SAP MM, SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, Jaggaer, or equivalent procurement platforms.
- Experience driving procurement transformation in a large, multi-plant, multi-country industrial environment.
- Understanding of supplier risk management, ESG compliance, and cost reduction strategies.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, working with CPOs, CFOs, plant managers, and IT leaders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience leveraging AI, RPA, and predictive analytics for procurement optimization.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, IT, or a related field.
- Certifications in SAP Ariba, Coupa, or Ivalua preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or Agile certifications are an advantage.
