As Head of Accounting & HR, you will have the following responsibilities and tasks:

Accounting department
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Responsible for asset accounting including closing entries
- Monthly account reconciliation
- Completion of monthly advance VAT returns
- Determination of deferred taxes including documentation
- Close cooperation with auditors, tax consultants and financial controlles of ProMinent HQ
- Preparation of business analyses and evaluations, including monthy analyses of the different figures
- Upload SAP FI figures to the SAP SEM BCS system
- Collaboration on accounting projects and the optimisation of business processes
HR department
- Advising on all issues relating to day-to-day HR work
- Participation in and / or management of projects in the HR area
- Recruiting personnel by formulating job advertisements & managing applicants
- Organisation and administration of training planning and teambuilding events
- Advising the departments on individual measures and annual evaluation of the training courses attended
Profiel
Our future Head of Accounting & HR must have / be :
- Degree in business administration, accountant with tax knowledge or comparable training and affinity in HR related topics
- Several years of professional experience in accounting
- Tax affinity
- Sound knowledge of SAP FI, SAP AA, SAP SEM BCS and Excel desirable
- Independent, autonomous and structured way of working
- Ability to work in a team, resilience and trustworthiness
- Confident handling of common MS Office applications
- Languages : NL and/or FR and fluency in written and spoken English
- Initiative and commitment
- Communication skills and ability to work under pressure and flexibility
