Profel, founded in 1948, is a Belgian family-owned company specializing in exterior joinery. The Profel Group encompasses a wide range of production units.

The business unit Profel Extrusion & Finishing is responsible for the extrusion, anodizing, and powder coating of aluminum profiles. Profel Windows & Doors specializes in custom-made exterior joinery in PVC, aluminum, and wood. In addition to windows and doors, Profel also manufactures various complementary products, such as garage doors, roller shutters, and ventilation systems.

Today, Profel employs more than 1,300 people in Belgium (Pelt, Achel) and the Netherlands (Eersel).

Today, everything in production is interconnected, making the work both exciting and challenging.

As a Maintenance Technician at Profel, you will detect wear and malfunctions, working together with the team to identify root causes, develop solutions, and implement optimizations. Your role includes everything from routine inspections and preventive maintenance to risk analysis. You will work with high-quality machines and equipment.

Your responsibilities:

• Performing curative and corrective maintenance, including conducting risk analyses


• Inspecting machines and technical installations


• Analyzing malfunctions and repairing machines and installations


• Shutting down machines when safety is at risk


• Carrying out preventive maintenance based on maintenance plans and measurement results


• Keeping records of maintenance work, such as updating technical files and manuals
