We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive business growth in Belgium for a global leader in engraving and marking solutions. Our client designs and manufactures high-tech mechanical and laser solutions for automotive, aerospace, retail, signage, and industrial manufacturing industries. With a strong presence in Belgium for over 50 years, they offer machines and consumables, ensuring recurring revenue and long-term client relationships.
As an Area Sales Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Manage and develop an existing portfolio of B2B clients across various industries.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence in Belgium.
- Provide consultative sales expertise, helping clients choose the right solutions.
- Support and grow relationships with indirect sales partners (distributors).
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, R&D, technical support) to deliver the best client experience.
- Report activities and market insights using CRM tools.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and roadshows.
The successful candidate will have the following qualities:
- Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in printing, point-of-sale advertising, packaging, graphic arts, or industrial equipment sales.
- Experience selling technical products, machines, and consumables.
- Strong autonomy and ability to manage multiple clients effectively.
- Dynamic, proactive, and eager to thrive in a growing, fast-moving company.
- Fluent in French and Dutch
- Comfortable with consultative selling and understanding technical solutions.
