Freelance Junior Business Controller
Functieomschrijving
As a key member of the controlling Team, you will play a vital role in driving business performance. Your responsibilities will include:
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Analyze monthly financial results, prepare insightful presentations for the Board of Directors, and collaborate with operational teams to understand business trends.
- Pricing & Costing: Conduct in-depth pricing analyses for new menu items and seasonal offerings, considering industry benchmarks and competitive landscapes.
- Business Partnering: Work closely with teams across the organization, including Operations, Marketing, and Sourcing, to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Contribute to the development and monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts.
- Data Analysis & Insights: Leverage data from various sources, including sales systems, to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives to enhance financial reporting processes and drive operational efficiency.
Profiel
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a finance role, ideally within the hospitality or food & beverage industry.
- Fluency in French or Dutch, and English.
- Advanced Excel skills and a strong interest in data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools (a plus).
