Are you ready to lead across borders, drive excellence, and shape the future of our regional operations? Duties: We are looking for a Deputy Director to oversee multiple countries within the C&SEA (covering Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Poland, Italy, San Marino, Greece, Malta, Cyprus, Hungary, Czech Republic, Serbia, Croatia, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania and Albania), ensuring that our teams deliver top-tier results while fostering collaboration with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, maximize efficiency and harbor productivity. The successful candidate will be supporting the Area Director in achieving the aims and objectives of the Area, deputizing as required. In this high-impact role, you will work closely with executive-level management, contributing to strategic performance goals and aligning the Area operations (operational budget of circa £20 million) with our broader goals. Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute operational plans that drive growth and efficiency.
Champion innovation and best practices to ensure we stay safe and relevant.
Manage and mentor our teams, empowering them to exceed while driving accuracy, optimizing resources, and developing solutions.
Monitor performance metrics, ensuring that our work aligns with our organizational-wide goals and financial budgets.
Profiel
A recognised degree (BSc and/or MSc) in technical/management/business administration and/or any other related field to the CWGC’s discipline. Any additional related qualifications/certifications will be considered as an advantage. Proven track record in a management or leadership role with extensive experience overseeing operations, guiding teams, and implementing strategic initiatives to achieve organizational objectives. A strong background in managing projects, with practical experience on change and performance management will be highly regarded. Knowledge of organisational policies, horticultural and works standards and practices will be an additional asset. Demonstrated understanding and respect for diverse backgrounds and cultures. Exhibits proven experience in fostering inclusive work environments, effective interaction, and collaboration with individuals from various cultural contexts.
