Transportation Administrator

Notre client est actif dans le secteur pharmaceutique 

General mission

Organize the transportation activities in order to ensure the efficient flow of materials and parts for supply Operations with materials, spare parts, equipment, products (incl. SPECT/PET) in respect with all quality, regulatory, safety, timing and costs requirements.

Main tasks

Receive operations requests and collect all necessary information to organize the transport

Booked transports in compliance with timing, quality, regulatory requirements

Plan and coordinate transport activities according to priorities, monitor and update the planning according to workload and emergencies

The activities planning is implemented on time, according to Operations request with the required level of compliance/quality/safety/costs specifications

Administer and follow-up the transports

The transportation is efficiently managed and is compliant to any safety/quality/regulatory/cost requirements and meets the Operations supply requests (timing)

Check and approve invoices

Invoices approved and transmitted on time

Develop and maintain relationship with suppliers, subcontractors

Relationship compliant with quality requirements and internal policies

Propose improvements in order to optimize transportation process

Improvements are documented and implemented

Manage and ensure follow up of claims and queries: freight, insurances, customers service, suppliers …

Follow-up of requests, Status of the claims monitored

Apply procedures to ensure efficient and cost effective movement of importation and exportation.

Customs declaration and import/export operations assured

What we value

You have:

A first experience in a similar role: transportation, warehouse,... in an industrial sector

An experience in several kind of transport: boat, railway, road, plane is required

A good understanding of customs and Trade matters (documentation, principles, classification,…) is required

A good level of communication in French and English (written and oral)
