Your Role:
As a Technical Engineer, you will be instrumental in managing engineering processes from start to finish. Your role will involve technical studies, feasibility assessments, and overseeing project execution. Based in Villers-le-Bouillet, Dessel, or Grimbergen, you will ensure that all projects meet technical, customer, and financial goals, working closely with a diverse team of experts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze technical documentation to assess project feasibility.
- Perform structural estimates and define construction processes and methods.
- Provide detailed technical calculations to support project planning.
- Oversee technical aspects of projects throughout the engineering and execution phases.
- Ensure projects meet customer requirements, technical standards, and financial targets.
- Collaborate with project engineers, drafting teams, and subcontractors.
- Monitor and review subcontractor offers and progress.
- Report to the Project Manager and suggest improvements for project performance.

- Degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in a similar role; experience in the nuclear sector is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical concepts and building standards.
- Proficiency in technical calculations and CAD software.
- Knowledge of related fields such as nuclear, radioprotection, chemistry, electricity, electromechanics, automation, and hydraulics.
- Familiarity with IT and Office tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in Dutch, French, and English; proficiency in German is a plus.
- Relevant experience in a similar role; experience in the nuclear sector is advantageous.
