Sterilization & Lab Support

Our client, a biotech company based in Zwijnaarde, is a global biotechnology company bringing innovative CAR-T cell therapy to Ghent. The company is making a daily difference in the lives of many patients suffering from cancer and other life-threatening diseases. They are currently in a phase of strong growth and are looking for motivated and dedicated team members.

As a new team member, you will undergo comprehensive training in aseptic techniques and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). These standards are crucial for ensuring the safety and effectiveness of the cell therapies.

You will:

• Work alongside a dedicated team to maintain high standards in cleanroom environments.


• Ensure equipment is sanitized, materials are handled properly, and procedures are followed.


• Sterilize and maintain equipment, as well as used materials, to ensure a safe and sterile environment.


• Support the process operators in their tasks when needed.


• Ensure the safe and correct transportation of materials and products between cleanrooms.


• Be part of the production process, following clear protocols to provide life-saving treatments to patients.


• Wear protective gear (GOWNING) to maintain a sterile environment.

The ideal candidate has the following qualities:

• You have full proficiency in the English language.


• You have a high school diploma.


• You are a true team player.


• Strict protocols don’t intimidate you; you are accustomed to working meticulously and maintaining the highest standards of quality.


• You are flexible and willing to work in shifts, including both early and late shifts and weekends.


• You have a genuine interest in working in a laboratory environment.


• You are known for your attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks, and you are only satisfied when everything is perfectly completed.
