Senior General Ledger Accountant

Your tasks: As a Senior General Ledger Accountant you will handle accounting from A to Z for the company. You will also be the SPOC for stakeholders in the company when they have accounting-related questions. More specifically, your tasks will consist of the following:
- Financial reporting activities, including month-end closing entries and the preparation of the quarterly reporting
- Controlling the balance sheet accounts
- Integrating the bookkeeping of new entities into the group
- Preparing and filing of statutory annual accounts
- Coordinating the statutory audit process
- Preparing of the corporate income tax return and enclosures in close cooperation with the group tax department
- Preparing and filing of Belgian VAT returns and related listings
- Ad-hoc finance and tax related tasks and projects
- Direct reporting line with the Finance Manager
Profiel
The ideal profile:
- You have a degree in accounting
- You have at least 5 years experience in a similar role
- You have good knowledge of BE-GAAP, knowledge of IFRS is a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is a plus as well
- You have strong communication skills, are social and assertive
- You adopt a problem-solving attitude and have a positive mindset
- You are fluent in Dutch or French, with knowledge of English
