Who are you in our On IT! Story? As a Security Systems Engineer you will be responsible for implementing the security practice within our organization. You will develop and implement security strategies, and ensure the delivery of high-quality security solutions to our clients. Your role will involve working closely with clients to understand their security needs and providing expert guidance on Microsoft and other related security technologies.
- Expertise:
Implement, and manage security solutions using Microsoft technologies and other third-party solutions
Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
Manage security monitoring tools to detect and respond to security events in real-time.
Coordinate response efforts to security incidents, including investigation, containment, and remediation.
Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices. - Collaborationandcommunication:
Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate security into all aspects of the organization’s operations.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of security policies, procedures, and incident reports. - Innovationandimprovement:
Provide security training and awareness programs to promote a culture of security.
Stay updated with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies.
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
Profiel
- Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. - Experience
Proven experience in a in a security engineering role. - Skills
Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies
In-depth knowledge of Azure Security and Microsoft 365 Security
Knwoledge of RocketCyber, Guardian 360 and other related tools.
Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM.
Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
Experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIS2).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
