What does your day as a roofer look like?

Installation of new roofs: You install new flat roofs on homes, offices, and other buildings. You work with various materials such as bitumen, EPDM, PVC, etc.
Renovation of existing roofs: You also carry out repair and renovation work on existing roofs. This can range from small repairs to complete renewal of the roof covering.
Installation of roof insulation: In addition to applying roof covering, you also install roof insulation to ensure that the buildings are energy efficient.
Waterproofing and finishing: You ensure that the roofs are completely watertight and finish the edges and overlaps precisely.
Following safety measures: You strictly follow all safety regulations to ensure that your workplace is always safe for you and your colleagues.
Team collaboration: You work closely with your colleagues on the work floor. Together you ensure a smooth progression of the projects.
Quality control: After completing your work, you check whether everything has been executed correctly and report any problems or areas for improvement.
Communication with customers: Sometimes you have direct contact with customers to answer their questions and keep them informed of the progress of the work.
