Project Manager NDT (M/F/X) for the division
Energy & Process Industries. As
Project Manager NDT (M/F/X), you assist in achieving the strategic objectives by enhancing the organizational efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of the NDT department through the coordination of projects and by supporting the Operations Manager. This involves identifying opportunities for improvement, implementing solutions, and ensuring projects are completed successfully and align with organizational goals.
- Project Coordination
- Conduct research, workshops, and other activities to support the specification and agreement of project scope & deliverables (oriented at streamlining processes and reducing costs).
- Propose project plans, ensuring that all activities are identified and are appropriately organized to deliver project objectives.
- Deliver required outcomes by coordinating activities and acting as a primary point of contact for project contributors.
- Prepare and present reports on project status, performance metrics, and improvement outcomes.
- Support Operations Manager
- Support in translating the division strategy to a department strategy and team objectives.
- Translate operational rules into specific procedures for the department.
- Advise on & assist in the coaching of the department management team.
- Advise on & assist in the hiring of additional staff or investment in material (within pre-agreed budget).
- Budget realization
- Support in drafting the budget for the department and assist in allocating budgets and operating resources to different teams and projects, both in terms of personnel and material, and monitor them closely.
- Support in ensuring that available resources are used to a maximum.
- Stakeholder management
- Deliver stakeholder engagement activities to support the development of effective working relationships for projects and to identify and respond to stakeholder needs and concerns.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and support for projects and improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and training sessions to engage teams and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide regular updates and feedback to senior management on project and improvement progress.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify areas for improvement in processes, systems, services and practices within the organization, taking into account market developments, commercial, technological & innovative opportunities and customer needs & complaints.
- Use data and analysis to pinpoint inefficiencies & waste and recommend solutions.
- Analyse trends and measure the impact of improvement efforts.
Degree: Master’s degree in Engineering with 5 years of experience or more.
Languages: Fluency in French, Dutch & English.
Experience: 5 years of relevant experience or more as project manager / manager, preferably in industrial services.
Skills and Qualifications: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Creative thinking and innovative solution development.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience with operational efficiency methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
