Project Engineer

As key member of the Joris Ide Divisional Engineering team, the Project Engineers will deliver robust and compliant process improvements and lead engineering projects throughout the Joris Ide division.An important element in the role is the flexibility to frequently travel between our divisional European sites.
Main Objectives- Carry out specific engineering tasks delegated to him by the Engineering Manager as appropriate
- Lead and support both minor and major installation projects on our manufacturing lines.
- Produce engineered mechanical design, integrate equipment and deliver project support in line with Joris Ide engineering standards
- Recommend and support value added improvement initiatives where appropriate
- Maintain and develop relationships with key internal and external customers and facilitate liaison with management/design/operations staff
- Attend training to develop relevant self-knowledge and technical skills
- Frequently travel (+/-25%) to the Joris Ide sites and to machinery suppliers
- Focus machinery and building construction related projects
Profiel
Who you are
- Significant and demonstrated experience in mechanical engineering and machine construction
- Good knowledge of software for 2D&3D engineering drawings
- Demonstrated experience managing manufacturing projects through full life cycle
- Very hands on with excellent organizational, planning and time management skills
- Ability to use judgement and make decisions in ambiguous and complex situations
- Ability to express him/herself in English and French.
