Process Operator

For our client in Balen, we are seeking motivated Process Operators interested in a 3-shift system (6-14 / 14-22 / 22-6).

Temporarily, you may also be required to work across  five shifts.

Role Overview:

As a Process Operator, you will be responsible for preparing, starting, recording, and monitoring production processes in accordance with required quality and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Loading chemicals (solid, liquid, and/or gaseous) into various installations.


• Performing different tasks across the chemical production process, such as adding/dosing reagents, conducting distillation/phase separation, and sampling.


• Setting and monitoring parameters (temperature, pressure, mixing speed, etc.).


• Accurately completing batch records.


• Filling drums with chemicals (intermediates or finished products).


• Cleaning equipment and dismantling routes after each process.


• Reporting deviations and abnormalities to the supervisor.

• Work accurately and with attention to detail.


• Are safety and quality-conscious.


• Have a sense of responsibility, organization, and cleanliness.


• Are proficient in English and have at least a basic understanding of Dutch.


• Can work effectively both in a team and independently.


• Possess experience as a process operator in chemistry or knowledge of chemical processes.


• Hold a degree in Chemistry or equivalent experience and are willing to work in shifts.


• Have their own means of transportation.
