The high number of opportunities for process assistants matches their importance. Your responsibilities:
- You write process flows for experiments, execute on advanced processes, inspect, and perform measurements.
- You will be responsible for the planning, organizing and executing of experiments in imec's 300mm cleanroom.
- You report your observations and findings to R&D engineers who work on the same projects as you do.
- You work with the imec hardware teams to resolve tool issues obstructing progress.
- Depending on your projects, you collaborate directly with industry partners who work in our cleanrooms daily.
- You work in shifts (early-night-late & 1 weekend out of 4) using state-of-the-art high-tech equipment.
- Based on your experience, we will train you on the job or have you coach junior colleagues.

Who you are
- A bachelor in Chemistry, Physics, Electronics, Electromechanics, or similar industrial experience
- Eager to learn and self-organized
- Good sense of urgency and the flexibility to take on tasks in function of project needs
- Accurate and organized
- Dedicated to a high standard of quality and workResilient and problem-solving
- Independent and proactive
- Decisive and assertive
- Good social and communication skills
- Proficient English
