Key Responsibilities
- Develop procurement strategies for steel structures in collaboration with project and technical teams.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with group objectives.
- Lead framework agreements and vendor negotiations at a global level.
- Support tendering teams by providing pricing and vendor insights.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives and group synergies across projects.
- Promote innovation and sustainability within procurement activities.
- Conduct market analysis to adapt vendor panel strategies.
- Provide strategic input during project execution phases.
Profiel
What Makes a Successful Candidate?
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanics; Master's in procurement is a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in steel procurement or technical roles.
- Strong experience in technical industries, with a focus on complex projects.
- Fluency in English and good knowledge of French and Dutch.
- Strong skills in negotiation, strategic thinking, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Willingness to travel as required.
