Our client is a strong growing market leader within the FMCG.

They operate from different production facilities worldwide and serve more than 30 countries. One of their International Distribution Centers is located in Belgium.

To further pursue their ambitious growth plans, we are currently supporting them in their search towards a Warehouse Excellence Manager.

You will have the opportunity to be part of the overall site transformation project for one of their plants. This will result in a phase in- & out scenario towards a new, high tech production & warehouse environment, including a new High Bay Warehouse and full automation. In this role you will secure the overall operational excellence for all warehousing activities for their Distribution Centre.

• You conduct in depth & objective analysis of all workflows, processes, and systems to identify opportunities for optimization and drive continuous improvements across all logistics activities within the distribution centres (DC’s).
• You will play an integral role in the new logistics capacity project, from blueprint development and simulation to integration, commissioning,…up to successful go-live.
• You translate diverse process improvement initiatives into well-defined, actionable project plans, ensuring flawless execution and follow-up.
• You ensure smooth project delivery by building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• You perform cost-benefit analyses and assess ROI to drive strategic decision-making and ensure correct resource allocation.
• You secure a Warehouse Excellence Culture, embedding best practices and continuous improvement across the Supply Chain Operations.
• You ensure a clear operations manual is in place and share your expertise with the Warehouse Team by training key & end users.
• You will engage daily with the Warehouse Manager while reporting directly to the Supply Chain Director of the site. You will lead and manage a team of 3 Business Process Analysts.

• Bachelor or Master Degree preferably within Supply Chain Management and/or Logistics.
• You gained a broad experience in different Supply Chain roles with a strong emphasis on Warehouse and Operational Excellence.
• Strong knowledge of diverse Warehouse Automations Systems such as Stow, Schaeffer….is a must. Knowledge of SAP EWM-ERP is a strong plus.
• Industry experience in Food or FMCG is not mandatory, the need and willingness to work in a fast and dynamic environment is essential.
• Strong Operational Excellence methodology and Continuous Improvement principles are required.
• You have a proven track record in both People and Project Management and combine this with a problem solving attitude and a go-getter mentality.
• Fluency in both English and Dutch is mandatory for this role.
• You are an excellent relationship builder with strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to gain buy-in both in- and external.
• Strong analytical skillset with the ability to quickly and securely analyze information, take initiatives and make decisions.
