Legal Contract Engineer (Freelance)

Our client who is active in banking - Brussels - is looking for a freelance Legal Contract Engineer - DORA, to support her activities.
· To support the buyers and business representatives in revising contracts following BNP Paribas Fortis guidelines and policies;
· To analyze legal risks of contracts;
· To propose the most suitable contracts from a toolbox and customize where needed;
· To support negotiations from a legal point of view;
· To (help) draft final agreements
For each contract to remediate, the role will consist of the following activities:
· Analyze the existing contract between client and the Supplier
· Make a gap analysis versus the new DORA requirements
· Prepare an addendum to the contract based on a list of contract templates from a toolbox, and customize them where needed;
· Align with Legal and/or IT Security on the required changes
· Send the proposal of addendum to the Supplier;
· Analyze the answer from the Supplier and align with the internal stakeholders (Legal, IT Security, Procurement, Business, …) in order to define the BNP Paribas Fortis negotiation position;
· Negotiate with the Supplier in order to find a final agreement;
· Have the addendum signed;
