Are you looking for a supporting legal role? Do enjoy having perfectly organized administration? Perfect!

We are looking for a part-time Paralegal to assist the Corporate Legal team by offering support with legal, administrative and organizational tasks.

Your responsibilities:

  • Corporate legal housekeeping: assist the team with
    • Publications in the Belgian Official Gazette
    • Drafting and execution of standard corporate documents for entities of the company or entities belonging to the company's venture portfolio (board resolutions, powers of attorney, certificates or extracts, ...)  
    • Translation, notarization and legalisation of documents
    • Keeping the UBO information of the company entities up to date and provide extracts from the register if requested
  • Insurance portfolio
    • Follow up on claim files, in close collaboration with the insurance broker and the legal counsel
    • Keep insurance policy information up to date
  • File and document management  
    • Manage and archive information and documents on shared team locations.
  • Internal communication
    • Act as point of contact between the legal team and other departments such as finance and HR for various requests for corporate legal information, such as requests to fill out KYC forms.

Profiel

  • A bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies or equivalent education and experience for the job.
  • Min. 2 years of relevant expertise in a corporate environment.
  • A high proficiency of Dutch and English, spoken and written.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office (Outlook/Word/PowerPoint/Excel/Teams), SharePoint and One Drive.
  • You have strong organizational, communication and administrative skills. 
  • You  have attention to detail and are discrete and integer when handling confidential information.
