As an IT Project Manager, you will take charge of strategic projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Your responsibilities include:
- Project Planning and Execution: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables while creating detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and external vendors, to align expectations and achieve goals.
- Risk Management: Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and resolve issues promptly to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Budget and Resource Management: Monitor project budgets, manage resources efficiently, and provide regular financial updates to stakeholders.
- Agile Methodologies: Champion Agile practices to enhance team collaboration, deliver iterative improvements, and maintain flexibility in project execution.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects adhere to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and quality benchmarks.
Profiel
The ideal candidate will be an IT Project Manager with a track record of delivering complex projects in the banking or financial services sector. You will have:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT project management, preferably within banking, fintech, or a related industry.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum Master are required; additional certifications like SAFe or ITIL are a plus.
- Proficiency in project management tools like Jira, MS Project, or Trello, and familiarity with collaboration platforms like Confluence or Microsoft Teams.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage diverse stakeholders and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving business objectives.
- An understanding of banking technologies, digital transformation, and IT governance frameworks.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is an advantage.
