Together with your UX design, UX research and design system colleagues and the different business stakeholders and developers, you get to work on the news apps & websites for our many news brands across Europe impacting the way millions of customers consume our content.

Together with your UX design, UX research and design system colleagues and the different business stakeholders and developers, you get to work on the news apps & websites for our many news brands across Europe impacting the way millions of customers consume our content.

Your role includes.
- Closely collaborate with UX designers and researchers when new features need to be designed.
- Translate hi-fi and lo-fi wireframes into attractive and optimised designs for all our newsbrands and news-related brands.
- Onboard new news brands onto existing group platforms.
- Safeguard the scalability of the designs for the different group platforms
- You will be the primary point of contact for the different development teams
What makes you a great fit?
- Passion for UI: you love to make beautiful digital products. We’re not looking for a great illustrator, we’re looking for a great digital product designer.
- Insight in UX: while we don’t expect you to be the best UX’er, it does help when you know the difference between good and bad UX.
- The devil is in the details: you are detail-oriented yet strategic, ensuring brand consistency while considering scalability.
- Analytical mindset: you don’t take shortcuts and think things trough.
- Problem solving mindset: you dare to defend your vision and can argue your choices qualitatively. You mostly see solutions, not only issues.
- Dynamic style: you are comfortable navigating a fast-paced, multibrand environment while maintaining design integrity.
- Communication is key: you are the linking pin between UX/Business and Development.
- Skills and experience:
- You have 3+ years experience in digital product design.
- You have a thorough knowledge of accessibility and human interface design.
- You are familiar with the design guidelines for Android, iOS, and responsive websites.
- You have practical experience with Figma.
- You have worked with design systems.
- Knowledge of Tokens Studio.
- Fluency in Dutch and English is essential.
