Our client, a well-established company specializing in road transport and logistics, is looking for a proactive and experienced Key Account Manager to join their team. The company serves a diverse range of businesses across Belgium, supporting their export activities through tailored transport solutions.
As Key Account Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities within the export sector in Belgium.
- Client Portfolio Management: Maintain and expand relationships with an existing portfolio of clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering loyalty.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and another Key Account Manager to align strategies and deliver exceptional service.
- Reporting: Report directly to the CEO, providing insights and updates on account management and sales performance.
The successful candidate will have the following qualities:
- Proven experience in the road transport sector, with a strong understanding of its dynamics and challenges.
- Fluent in Dutch, French, and English to communicate effectively with a diverse client base.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and develop tailored solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a collaborative mindset.
