Key Responsabilities :

• Handle full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting.


• Ensure compliance with VAT regulations, including timely VAT filings, reconciliations, and reporting.


• Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements.


• Perform month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.


• Manage bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, accruals, and provisions.


• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and accounting standards (BEGAAP)


• Implement and enhance financial controls, policies, and process.


• Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making to the Chief Accounting (direct report)

Successful candidate :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a senior role, including ownership on VAT declarations


• Strong knowledge of A to Z accounting processes and VAT laws & regulations.


• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.


• Strong communication and leadership abilities.


• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.


• Fluent in French & English
