Head of actuary

- Oversee the actuarial department, ensuring efficient operation.
- Develop and implement effective actuarial strategies.
- Provide expert guidance on actuarial models and risk management.
- Produce and review periodic assessments and reporting.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial stability.
- Monitor and forecast future trends and risks.
- Compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Report on actuarial operations to senior management.
Profiel
A successful Head of Actuary should have:
- A degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the insurance industry (preferably as Head of).
- Strong understanding of quantitative risk models
- Proficiency in data analysis and predictive modelling.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data.
- Fluent in Dutch (passive French is a plus).
