As Corporate Internal Audit your role will gather certain specificities.

In a nutshell:

• Develop, manage, and follow up on audit plans across multiple affiliates.


• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align on auditable risks, internal controls, and remediation strategies.


• Drive audit execution by gathering and analyzing data, reporting on findings, and making actionable recommendations.


• Lead and implement digital audit strategies in collaboration with internal IT teams and external experts.


• Act as a leader in audit and risk management, understanding business challenges and translating them into focused audit plans.


• Mentor and coach team members to ensure audit objectives are met effectively.


• Support communication with the Audit Committee and ensure clear, coherent reporting.


• Interact with external auditors to ensure consistency and alignment in reporting.

The Corporate Internal Auditor presents a certain set of skills and experiences:

• A master's degree in a relevant field.


• As from 7 years of audit experience, ideally from a Big 4 firm, the energy sector, industrial companies, or other international environments.


• Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages (such as French or Dutch) is a plus.


• Strong ability to work cross-functionally and across diverse teams.


• Excellent analytical skills and comfort working with data and metrics.


• Strong presentation skills with experience engaging at executive levels.


• Exceptional interpersonal skills to build relationships both internally and externally.


• Practical, innovative leadership with a proven ability to translate risks into clear audit plans.


• Open to new ideas, adaptable to change, and appreciative of individual differences.


• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI) and data analytics tools is advantageous.
