Our client is a global Healthcare company active in the field of Dermatology. With a strong implication toward R&D, the company is leading the market in term of innovation & market value.
In order to sustain the growth of their Belgian entity, they are currently looking to extend the Sales & Marketing team with a Commercial Excellence Manager.
This cross-functional role will be at the centre of the organziation working with all concerned division (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Leadership team, etc.)
As the successful Commercial Excellence Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:
Brand Strategies:
- Actively participate to the market analysis of the Brand Plans
- Implement tools and analysis to collect insights for short & long term strategy.
- Participate to the development strategy of our products by analyzing markets, helping to collect insights for the short and long term strategy.
- Collaborate to the segmentation, targeting and competitive intelligence with internal stakeholder.
- Propose innovative, simple, and strategy-aligned incentive and variable remuneration systems for commercial representatives
Performance indicators:
- Provide continuous analyses to support Brands and company performance in the strategic thinking, the definition and the implementation of the commercial strategy and its continuous improvement.
Insights:
- Perform customers market research & analyze trends.
- Monitor market trends, including competitor and customer insights analysis (HCPs, care providers, patients).
- Identify, propose, and conduct quantitative and/or qualitative market research studies, in collaboration with Marketing and Sales departments.
- Continuously evaluate relevant market events and identify new opportunities.
- Expertise in the preparation, analysis, and utilization of market, sales, and activity data, including competitive analysis within its scope.
- Bring new ideas to improve the functioning of Commercial operations and marketing, optimize resources (dashboard, sales deployment process, resource optimization)
- Be the referent for Commercial & Operational Excellence initiatives with the Group and other market companies (best practices, guidelines, sharing of expertise and experience)
Forecasting:
- Help Brand Team leaders for brand forecasting and demand planning ensuring full availability of product.
- Support market and sales/patients forecasts, contributing to the development of models, in collaboration with other departments
- Act as local referent for CRM (Veeva) and analytics tools (PowerBI), and make the required improvements to support strategy and requirements. Perform analysis and develop decision-making tools, including Action Plan & key account management
Budget:
- Develop brand A&P budget reports & analysis of marketing budget, relevant financial and reporting on product/company performance. Drive Financial planning in collaboration with the Finance Lead
As the successful Commercial Excellence Manager, you will have the following requirements:
- At least a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the field of economics - or equivalent by experience
- At least a proven minimum of 5 years - Experience in the Pharma industry will be consider as a strong asset
- Experience in Sales Force Effectiveness, or in operations / customer excellence
- Previous experience in biologic market/immunology is a plus
- Fluent in English - Good knowledge of Dutch & French is mandatory
- IT, office automation, skills in programming is a plus
- Strong analytical and strategic skills, time management, planning, workload prioritization
