Are you ready to make a sweet impact in a dynamic environment, right at the heart of sugar production? As a Business Controller, you are responsible for the cost analysis of processes related to the development, manufacturing and packaging of sugar products in the different factories of the Tiense Suikerraffinaderij in Belgium. Just like our sugar makers, we need someone who stands firmly on the ground, looks ahead with a clear vision, and turns complex challenges into refined solutions.

Your job as Business Controller
At Tiense Suikerraffinaderij, we boast an impressive lineup of 6 factories, each specializing in unique sugar processes. Ensuring optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness across all operations is essential to our success. Your main responsibilities are, together with your colleague business controller:

• You discuss and further optimise cost analyses, in close collaboration with your colleagues in the Production, Sales and Supply Chain departments. You also ensure the link with the accounting department.
• You create added value by making recommendations and thus enabling well-founded business decisions. You develop, maintain and follow-up on business data (e.g. budgets, forecasts, cost targets, KPI)
• You take an active role in the monthly and yearly closings and the regular forecasting process.
• You will report to the Director Controlling. You report to and work together with the colleagues of the Südzucker Group.

You should also possess the following qualifications and experiences:

• Master's Degree (e.g. economics)
• Excellent level of spoken and written Dutch and English; good level of French
• Strong knowledge of Excel including pivot tables is ESSENTIAL; knowledge of SAP FiCo / SAP BI is an advantage
• Strong competencies in and interest for business analytics, as well as a good understanding of accounting
