As part of our growth (RAMP UP) in LEAP engines, we are looking for an INSPECTOR (m/f) to strengthen our teams.Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is a subsidiary of Safran Aircraft Engines, based at Brussels Airport (Zaventem, Belgium), specialized in the inspection, maintenance and repair (MRO) of the advanced LEAP jet engines that power the latest generation of the Airbus A320NEO & Boeing B737MAX narrow body families. We employ over 300 highly skilled, passionate and enthusiastic employees.Your role:
- You perform visual and dimensional inspection on dismantled parts in accordance with applicable procedures;
- You assess parts (good as is, repair or scrap), modules or engine through the ERP system and launch necessary actions;
- You apply the appropriate materials, tools and methods;
- You ensure the traceability of the work by administratively closing the tasks performed;
- You determine the future configuration of parts or modules;
- You perform the 'incoming inspection' of parts after repair or of pieces being purchased;
- You perform the final inspection after internal repair.
Your profile:
- You have a superior technical secondary school degree (type A2) with a strong foundation in mechanics and proven experience. Exeperience as an aeronautical technician, or a bachelor's degree in aviation with relevant experience in our field is a real plus;
- You have proven experience as an Inspector;
- You are stress-resistant and take responsibility;
- You are flexible can adapt to changing working conditions;
- As an Inspector quality and safety are your priorities;
- You are proactive and can take decisions in urgent situations;
- You have a very good knowledge of technical English, with some knowledge of Dutch or French and you are willing to improve your skills;;
- You are willing to work 2 shifts (from 6am to 2pm, and from 2pm to 10pm);
- You enjoy working in a team, in a multilingual environment and supporting your colleagues.
