Function We are searching for a key player at Seaman Solutions, driving operational excellence and ensuring seamless experiences for maritime professionals worldwide! This function will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the Sales Executive.
Main responsibilities - Oversee day-to-day operations of the platform, ensuring smooth workflows across all Departments;
- Develop, implement and optimize operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency;
- Collaborate with the sales, customer service, and technical teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction;
- Manage and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational success and identify areas for improvement;
- Ensure compliance with maritime industry regulations and certification standards;
- Handle resource allocation, workload distribution and staff coordination to maintain productivity;
- Drive process improvements to streamline the certification, documentation, and training workflows offered by the platform;
- Work closely with leadership to support strategic planning and growth initiatives;
- Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies;
- Supervise and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment
Qualifications - A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Dutch is not required, but proficiency in English is essential.
- Proven experience in operations management, preferbly in a tech-driven or maritime industry environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with Zoho CRM or other operational tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of maritime industry regulations or experience in compliance-related roles is preferred.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate performance metrics and implement improvements.
