USG Professionals is looking for a test automation expert for our client in the Antwerp region. This can be either as a USG Project Consultant or on a freelance basis!

To strengthen their ICT team, we are looking for a test automation expert.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans for both backend APIs and frontend applications within a Microsoft environment.
• Automate and manage testing processes using tools such as Postman and Azure DevOps.
• Test SharePoint and Dynamics 365 applications and, when necessary, the integrations of the applications.
• Identify and document bugs and improvements.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality standards are met.
• Conduct regression tests to ensure that existing functionality remains intact in new versions.
• Analyze test results and report findings to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Experience with test automation tools such as Postman, Azure DevOps, or other tools.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, etc.
• Knowledge of REST, SOAP, and oData.
• Knowledge of JSON and XML.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of performance, load testing, and security protocols.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft 365, Azure, and Dynamics 365.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure as a cloud platform.
• Experience with Application Insights/Azure Monitor.
• Certifications in Microsoft technologies, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals.
