Job description

Would you like to be part of a major logistics player in Antwerp? And do you like to be continuously looking for improvement for logistics processes? Then the position of Business Development Officer is exactly what you are looking for!




  • Problem analysis: You gain insight into the challenges governments face and respond to them with our software solutions.

  • Customized solutions: You will work closely with our development team to tailor the software to the specific needs of customers, such as ports, customs services and ministries of transportation.

  • Tender management: You will participate in tender processes and ensure that our solutions are positioned appropriately.

  • You will occasionally travel to Africa and the Middle East every 6-8 weeks.

  • International growth: You will help our company grow in new markets.

Profile

As a Business Development Officer, you recognize yourself in the profile below: 




  • You have a strong commercial attitude and a positive attitude that motivates both yourself and others.

  • You excel at converting customer requests into clear and achievable expectations, ensuring smooth communication both internally and externally.

  • You have a keen eye for identifying opportunities with both new and existing customers to improve processes and increase efficiency.

  • Your commitment and determination contribute to the commercial success of the company and help us achieve our ambitious goals.

  • You are fluent in English and French and effortlessly switch between different languages and cultures.

  • You work accurately and ensure that everything is right down to the last detail.

  • You have a genuine interest in the African and Middle Eastern markets and are motivated to further develop your knowledge of these regions.

  • Preferably you have 3-5 years of experience in a commercial role within the logistics or software development sector.

  • Experience in managing government tenders is a strong plus.
