As Trade & Category Manager - FMCG - Food- in the Fresh category, you are responsible for various brands within the fresh department, with one being the largest brand. Additionally, you work on innovative start-up brands.
Your goal is to further strengthen the market position in Belgium by creating and executing a strategic brand plan.
You are responsible for determining and implementing the category and (trade) marketing strategy for the assigned brands.
Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for developing and implementing the marketing approach, as well as the commercial approach for the various brands within retail, eCommerce, and foodservice channels.
- Coordinating both marketing and commercial activities, with close collaboration with sales, customer service, and logistics. Regularly participate in customer visits.
- Performing analyses based on Nielsen and GfK data and incorporating these into persuasive presentations for trade and brand.
- Managing the financial performance of the brands at the full commercial P&L level.
- Working closely with brand owners, the sales team, the finance department, and other internal stakeholders.
- Being part of a dynamic team of sales and marketing professionals.
Profiel
- You have a master's degree in economics/marketing.
- You have relevant marketing experience, including trade marketing and category management, with around 5 years of experience in FMCG/Retail.
- You are well-organized and methodical, enabling you to prioritize among multiple tasks and keep various projects running simultaneously.
- You are strong in administrative follow-up and processing of marketing data.
- You have an analytical mind and enjoy working with numbers.
- You have a clear "can-do" mentality.
- Responsibility, customer orientation, creativity, enthusiasm, interpersonal skills, and the ability to function well within a team are additional strengths.
- You are proficient in three languages (Dutch/French/English).
- You are skilled with MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
