Join Vestas as a Service Technician (f/m/d) and work with innovative technologies around 100 meters and more above the ground. Become a part of Vestas Department Special Task.
This Vestas Onshore Service department is mainly responsible for repairing’s of Blades uptower and downtower on wind turbines in multiple windfarms in the Netherlands and Belgium. The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication is the key to our success. Responsibilities
This Vestas Onshore Service department is mainly responsible for repairing’s of Blades uptower and downtower on wind turbines in multiple windfarms in the Netherlands and Belgium. Responsibilities
- Working at heights to perform rotor blades repairs
- Usage of rope lift platforms, cherry picker and rope access technology
- Developing a detailed knowledge of our wind turbines
- Responsible for fiber glass, carbon fiber repairs and additionally electrical and mechanical operations
- Creating follow up orders and inspection reports
- You will also work with high voltage
- Working to the highest safety and environmental standards whilst ensuring that service targets are met, you will be part of a team of Technicians (f/m/d) working throughout the region
- Other responsibilities will be to carry out periodic service inspections in accordance with Vestas specifications
Profiel
- Technical experience for a minimum of 2-3 years
- Experience or degree within electricity or mechanics. You are also eager to develop your skills within these areas
- Hydraulic experience is a big plus
- Professional experience in this area
- Basic knowledge of MS Office
- Very good knowledge of Dutch and English
- Driver's license class B
- 95% travelling will be required
