Function We are seeking a passionate Sales Executive & Business Developer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment and is eager to work on a disruptive project that will impact maritime careers globally. Your goal-setting mindset paired with excellent communicative skills, will be critical to our success in reshaping the seafarer career landscape.
Main responsibilities - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying and securing new business opportunities;
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals;
- Provide exceptional customer service and act as the main point of contact for clients;
- Conduct training sessions and product demonstrations to highlight platform benefits;
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and satisfaction;
- Regularly update and manage the sales pipeline using Zoho CRM;
- Develop and execute strategies to meet sales targets and expand Seaman Solutions’ presence in the maritime industry;
- Analyze market trends and provide insights to refine product offerings and strategies;
Qualifications - A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field is preferred
- Dutch is not required; proficiency in English is essential
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience in sales and business development, with proven ability to achieve targets
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively (an “all-doer” mindset)
- Familiarity with Zoho CRM or similar platforms
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Experience in conducting training sessions or product demonstrations
- Knowledge of the maritime industry or related regulations is a plus but not required
