Your role
As Regional Account Manager Foodservice (focus: Public & Health) North / Brussels within Vandemoortele Professional, your objective is to expand and deepen Vandemoortele’s regional presence by hunting new prospects and co-developing our customer’s business. Meanwhile, you take care of our company’s and segment strategy and our must-win battles. You step up to a more concept driven collaboration and seek proactively new business opportunities within and outside the existing customer and product portfolio. You will be the ambassador of our segment approach and bring added value to your contacts at various levels, ranging from operators to facility management, dieticians, purchasing, and general management. You operate within a wide scope of customers and business partners consisting out of Public & Health clusters, mainly in elderly care, hospitals and schools in your area. Your key responsibilities:
Business Development - You are ambitious and always on the lookout for new business opportunities. You dare to jump and show accountability accordingly.
- Focus on driving both volume and profit.
- Focus on bringing added value and make a difference in the market.
Account Management - Customer centric and able to prioritize your actions based on (y)our commercial strategy.
- Proactively translate market and customer data into actionable insights and are able to consolidate these into coherent account plans and joint business plans.
- Have a natural flair for building long-term customer relationships and know how to navigate your customers contact matrix framework.
- Always have sustainable and profitable volume growth in mind, whilst delivering against short term budget targets.
- Strong negotiator with a focus on value creation.
