- You are responsible for planning, organizing, directing and supervising the production team.
- You are a point of contact for the production staff.
- You are responsible for drawing up, coordinating and adjusting the production planning.
- You are responsible for organizing shop floor meetings.
- You constantly take into account predetermined objectives, production figures, returns and capacities.
- You coordinate and coach a team of operators and shift supervisors who give you clear instructions, so that the tasks are carried out with an optimal occupancy rate.
- You standardize and optimize production processes, which ensure that everyone in production is aware of these processes and the legal requirements.
- You work closely with the maintenance manager and the technicians with the aim of increasing the safety and efficiency of the machinery.
- You are responsible for the follow-up and analysis of production performance, KPIs and non-conformities.
- You stimulate a safety culture, ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all production employees.
- You have knowledge of the production equipment and can discuss this with the production managers and operators.
- Carrying out tours of production with a view to efficiency, maintenance, quality and safety.
- Establish and implement action plans within the framework of ISO Toon nummer), 5S, continuous improvement.
- You work together with other departments (HR, QSE, Sales, Engineering, ...) to increase collaboration, productivity, safety and quality.
- You offer support to and contribute to the sustainable business values of the organization.
Profiel
- You have a Bachelor's/Master's degree in a technical field such as e.g. Electromechanics, or you've been equated by experience.
- You have min. 5 years of experience in a (similar) production environment in a managerial position, experience with (quality) management systems a plus.
- You live at a reasonable distance from the site in Poperinge because of intervention time in case of any calamities.
- You work independently and accurately, with an eye for quality.
- You can communicate in a professional manner in French, Dutch and English.
- You are a real team player and people manager.
- Good time management is key, as is a flexible attitude and the willingness to occasionally start earlier or stay longer due to production needs.
- You have a positive attitude by nature.
- You are punctual, reliable and transfer your own motivation to your team.
- Safety and quality are of paramount importance to you.
- You have experience with project management and know how to stimulate your team to collaborate and accountability.
- You are enterprising, respectful and result-oriented.
