Makita is one of the world's leading manufacturers and distributors of power tools. In the 'African Sales Division' department, Makita Belgium provides sales and service of our products through a network of dealers in Africa.
Job description: You will ensure that our customer (dealer) is always provided with the correct information via e-mail so that he promotes Makita products as a preferred brand to his end customers. You will also be responsible for item management and the execution and recording of purchases.
Tasks: - Daily contact with customers via e-mail
- Providing correct advice to dealers (prices, promotions, availability, delivery status,...)
- Ensuring the correct entry of orders into the inventory system on a daily basis
- Order follow-up (RMA, complaints, pricing, back orders,...)
- Preparation of proforma invoices based on Excel data
- Checking and recording purchase invoices in the inventory system in preparation for receiving goods in the warehouse
- Checking all kinds of documents (transport documents, certificates of origin, certificates of conformity, EUR1,...)
- Monitor delivery times and prices, take action where necessary
- General administrative tasks to support the department
Profile description: - You are a customer-oriented, problem-solving team player.
- You can work accurately.
- You preferably have knowledge of customs regulations, customs tariff codes and excise regulations.
- You preferably have knowledge of Incoterms and some technical understanding and an affinity with the product range.
- In addition, you are fluent in French and English (spoken and written)
- A good knowledge and practical experience with MS Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook is necessary.
